80년대다. 중학교 갓 입학했을대 금성에서 나온 디자인도 참 당시에는- 이뻐 보였던 더블데크 카세트가 집에 들어왔다. 더블데크는 당시 획기적인
- 기술이었다. 그 것으로 녹음도 하고 복사도 하고 말이다. 영어에 한참
- 관심을 가질때 였던 지라 팝송을 많이 들었다. 마치 초등학교를 마치면
- 으례 팝을 흥얼거려야 하는 자격검정이라고나 할까? 그 때 들리던
- 이 노래를 좋아했었다. 무슨 뜻인지도 모르고 브라더루이루이~
흐느적 거리곤 했는데 서핑하다 보니 뮤비가 있다. 그런데 독일가수로- 알고 있는데 성조기가 나오는 걸로 봐서는 랩을 넣어서 미국시장에
- 진출했었나 보다. 원래버전엔 랩이 없었던 것으로 기억하니 말이다.
- 처음 목소리를 들었을때는 여자가수인줄로 착각했을 정도. 인터넷이라는 것이 주는 혜택은 이런 것에도 있나 보다. 이렇게 인터넷을 뒤져보면 마치 오래전 할아버지집 벽장을 뒤지다가 오랜 물건을 보고 신기해하거나 상상을 해보던 기억과 같은 기분이라고나 할까? 이 음악을 애기하며 닭장이며 고고장을 애기하곤 하지만 뭐 나는 사실 그 흔한 롤라장을 몇 번 가보지 않았다.
- 그래서 그런지 그런 기억은 덜 하지만 중학교때 영어를 본격적으로 접하며
- 익숙해져간 팝, 그중에서도 라디오에 흔하게 들리던 유로팝에 익숙해져가며
- 영어라는 과목을 안되는 발음으로 휘둘러보던 시기였었다.
- 당시엔 유로팝이 꽤나 유명했던 듯하다. 지금 뒤돌아 보니
- 그다지 아름다운 기억이 없구나.
- 아... 참 무료하게 살았었네. ㅋㄷㅋㄷ
